About us

The Wine and Dine Route Strada della Romagna was founded in 2000 with the aim to promote history, culture, art, food and wines of the Province of Ravenna, offering tourists the pleasure of a rural holiday dedicated to the traditional products of the territory.

Today the Strada della Romagna has about seventy members among farms and wineries, agritourisms, hotels and restaurants, managing authorities and institutions that share the goal of enhancing this part of Romagna, its traditions and gastronomic, cultural and naturalistic excellences.

Every year the Strada della Romagna organizes, promotes and supports a vast calendar of events and initiatives to develop tourism and enogastronomy.

Inform and make known the typical products of the territory, guide people in the most characteristic places and transmit the identity and value of this small land in size but boundless in resources are the daily activities carried out by those who love Romagna and want to share the beauty with more and more people.

From the middle valley of Senio and Lamone rivers, the territory of the Strada della Romagna descends towards the Via Emilia in a hilly environment rich in vineyards, olive groves and orchards intersected by the Vena del Gesso, the backbone of the homonymous Regional Park. Beyond the Via Emilia opens the Romagna plain with traces of the Roman centuriation that still borders vineyards and fields. Moving towards the coast meet the Regional Park of the Po Delta, the millennial salt pans of Cervia and Ravenna with its UNESCO monuments.
