Az. Agricola Randi vini
The classic autochthonous vines of Romagna are cultivated with passion in the 40 hectares of the Randi farm
The Società Agricola Randi, founded after World War II, today comprises several buildings, distributed between the towns of Fusignano and Alfonsine.
Currently the vineyards stretch over nearly 30 hectares and include vines of Trebbiano, Longanesi, Malbo gentile, Chardonnay, and Dora. Since 2000 the company has been associated with the “Il Bagnacavallo” consortium for the production and promotion of Longanesi grapes, denominated Bursòn (brand name and trademark registered by the consortium, which also promotes the image and the certifies the quality and suitability for marketing of the same).
In 2001 the first bottles produced by the Società Agricola Randi were marketed and in 2007 a collaboration was started with the “Brunello” distilleries in Vicenza to obtain grappa by processing the marcs. In 2008 it entered the regional Enoteca of Dozza and was admitted to Vinitaly in Verona; the company later entered the “Ente tutela vini di romagna” consortium and was invited to represent the wines of Romagna at the Zurich Chamber of Commerce.
The Randi company followed the guided production technique that later evolved into an integrated production. “Integrated Production” is a technique that makes it possible to cultivate one’s own products with respect for the environment, associating the chemical products only with strictly necessary, in effective doses and during the suitable stages of cultivation of the plants, together with the use of agronomic techniques.
