Soc. Agricola Baroncini Mirko e Fabio S.S. – Il Buon Latte

Buon Latte is a bio-agricultural company with 220 Friesian dairy cattle and more than 100 hectares of land cultivated mostly with hay, barley, and corn.

This is a learning farm with an Agricultural Museum and about 200 years of history, a Lilliputian train for visiting the facility; a company-owned dairy, a retail outlet (the first dairy ice cream shop and chocolate shop in Emilia Romagna), various itinerant retail outlets in local municipal, farmers’, and seaside markets during the summer months.

This company produces and sells raw cow’s milk, ricotta and other soft cheeses like Squacquerone D.O.P., stracchino and bucciatino, as well as other local cheeses like caciotta and raviggiolo, yogurt bearing the company’s brand “Il buon Latte”, which has been a registered trademark for more than 10 years.

The company also sponsors social-employment projects for mentally disabled youth (social farm, the organisation of events in collaboration with public administrations and private entities and collaborations with middle and high schools as well as universities for school-work programs for students).
