Sweet salt of Cervia

The salt of the Cervia Saline

is an integral sea salt produced, harvested and packaged according to the traditional method. Not artificially dried, it maintains its natural moisture, which is typical of unrefined sea salt, allowing the presence of all trace elements present in sea water, such as iodine, zinc, copper, manganese, iron, magnesium and potassium. It has always been known as a sweet salt, not because it has a lower salty capacity, but for a more limited presence of bitter salts, such as magnesium sulfates, calcium, potassium and magnesium chloride substances more insoluble, that normally gives to salt a bitter aftertaste less pleasing to the palate.
